We are working closely with the regions that will be most affected by Australia’s transition to a net zero emissions economy.
We are prioritising regions most at risk from decarbonisation. We are also looking at those with the greatest potential to benefit from emerging industries.

We have developed a comprehensive, evidence-based framework to advise the Australian Government on which regions to prioritise for support and investment.
This approach is tailored to each region’s unique strengths and challenges and is developed in close collaboration with local communities and stakeholders.
