Legal services expenditure

Paragraph 11.1(ba) of the Legal Services Directions 2017 requires entities to make records of their legal services expenditure for the previous financial year publicly available by 30 October each year.

The Net Zero Economy Authority came into existence as a Commonwealth statutory Authority on 11 December 2024. Immediately prior to this date, the organisation existed as the Net Zero Economy Agency, an Executive Agency within the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. Information on the Executive Agency’s legal expenditure is included in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet’s Report on Legal Services Expenditure 2023-24.
