The Wooreen Energy Storage System

Energy Australia has committed to building the Wooreen Energy Storage System scheduled to be operational prior to the end of 2026.

The project will provide an economic boost for the Gippsland region, help to secure Victoria’s energy supply, enable more renewable energy to enter the electricity network and carry on the Latrobe Valley’s proud history of powering industry and communities.
