Statement of Expectations and Statement of Intent

On 27 November 2025, the NZEA's Responsible Minister provided the NZEA with a Statement of Expectations. The Statement reflects the Government's priorities and vision for Australia's economic future, the broader strategic environment the NZEA is operating in, and its expectations of the NZEA's priorities.

The NZEA's responding Statement of Intent, outlining how we will meet these expectations, was approved by our CEO and Chair and endorsed by our Board on 19 February 2026.
