Stanwell Battery Project
Located in Stanwell, on the Stanwell Power Station precinct, is a 300MW/1200MWh large-scale battery energy storage system.
The project is being built by Stanwell and is expected to be fully operational by May 2027. The project has the potential to power more than 200,000 homes annually while its storage capacity will help change the way energy supply is managed during peak demand times.
