Reporting fraud and corruption

Fraud is dishonestly obtaining a benefit, or causing a loss, by deception or other means. 

The Net Zero Economy Authority has a zero tolerance for fraudulent and corrupt behaviour and has implemented a Fraud and Corruption Control Plan consistent with the Commonwealth Fraud and Corruption Control Framework and the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013.

The Net Zero Economy Authority takes all allegations of fraud and corruption seriously. Information about suspected fraudulent or corrupt behaviour against the Authority can be reported to NZEAGovernance@pmc.gov.au or via mail addressed to:  

Fraud Control Officer, Net Zero Economy Authority, PO Box 6500, Canberra ACT 2600. 

If you would like to report suspected fraud, please ensure you include the name(s) of the person(s) or organisation suspected of fraud and a detailed description of fraudulent activity. 

The Fraud and Corruption Control Plan provides a template notification form, however there is no requirement to use this form, as any format can be used.
