Join the Hunter’s Transmission Infrastructure Supplier Showcase

Two towers supporting powerlines in an open landscape

The Net Zero Economy Authority (the Authority) is collaborating with the Industry Capability Network (ICN) to support local business in the Hunter to maximise opportunities from the development and ongoing maintenance of transmission projects.

The Transmission Infrastructure Supplier Showcase will be a publication, profiling businesses in Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) in the Hunter-Central Coast, Central West-Orana and New England regions. The focus will be on businesses that currently work, or could potentially work, in the following areas:

  • planning and site preparation for transmission projects
  • manufacturing, installation, and/or ongoing maintenance of transmission towers
  • manufacturing, installation, and/or ongoing maintenance of electrical balance of plant, including but not limited to, cabling and wiring, substations, and transformers.

The showcase will create a clear picture of the skills and capacity of local industry to deliver major transmission projects by mapping suppliers across these categories, identifying areas of strength and highlighting any gaps.

Through direct engagement, structured surveys, and validation of business capability, the showcase will outline companies already engaged in the transmission supply chain, and those with the potential to pivot into this sector.

Join the Showcase

Businesses wanting to be part of this initiative are invited to complete a survey to share information and match capabilities with project requirements.

Please complete the survey here. It should take less than 10 minutes to complete.
