Corporate Plan

The Corporate Plan is the Authority’s primary planning document as required under paragraph 35(1)(b) of the PGPA Act. It sets out the Authority’s purpose, the activities we will undertake to achieve our purpose and the results we expect to achieve over a minimum 4-year period.

Corporate Plan 2024–25

The Net Zero Economy Authority’s inaugural Corporate Plan as a statutory authority outlines our strategic direction for the years ahead. It reflects our mission, priorities, and performance approach as we work to support an orderly and positive transition to net zero. This plan marks a key milestone in the Authority’s evolution, setting out the work we will deliver across our legislated functions.

Corporate Plan 2023–24

The Net Zero Economy Authority came into existence as a Commonwealth Statutory Authority on 11 December 2024. Immediately prior to this date, the organisation existed as the Net Zero Economy Agency, an Executive Agency within the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. As an Executive Agency, it was not required to publish a Corporate Plan and its activities were covered in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet Corporate Plan.
